1. Who We Are

Samantar LLC ("Samantar," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Samantar platform at samantar.us. Questions about this Privacy Policy may be directed to admin@samantar.us.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Samantar does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to access the platform's core features. We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or contact information (unless you contact us directly)
• Financial information or payment data
• Social Security numbers or government identifiers
• Health or demographic information

3. Information Automatically Collected

When you visit Samantar, our web servers and infrastructure providers automatically record standard access logs. This includes:

• IP address — your device's internet address
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and timestamps
• Referring URL — the page you came from

This data is collected automatically as part of standard web server operation. It is used solely for security monitoring, debugging, and understanding general platform usage. It is not used to build individual profiles or for advertising.

4. Infrastructure and Hosting

Samantar is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS may process server-level data in accordance with AWS's Privacy Policy. Our domain and DNS are managed via Cloudflare, which may process request-level data per Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies

Samantar does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.

Our infrastructure providers (AWS, Cloudflare) may set technically necessary cookies for security or performance purposes. These are not used to track you across sites or for advertising.

6. Analytics

We do not currently use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics). If this changes, this policy will be updated before any analytics is enabled.

7. Direct Communications

If you email us at admin@samantar.us, we retain that correspondence in order to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to mailing lists or share your email with third parties.

8. Data We Display (vs. Data We Collect)

Samantar displays publicly available government data from sources including BLS OEWS, U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard, and Texas state datasets. This data describes institutions, occupations, and aggregate statistics — not individuals. We do not collect or store any information you enter into search or filter fields on the platform.

9. Data Retention

Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, then deleted. Direct email correspondence is retained as long as reasonably necessary to address your inquiry.

10. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect the platform and its infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

This platform is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at admin@samantar.us.

12. Your Rights

Because we collect minimal personal data, most privacy rights requests will have limited scope. However, you may contact us at admin@samantar.us to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Request deletion of any personal information we hold
• Ask questions about this Privacy Policy

13. Texas Residents

Texas does not currently have a comprehensive consumer data privacy law equivalent to California's CCPA. However, Samantar is committed to data minimization and transparency regardless of applicable law.

This platform may contain links to third-party websites. Samantar LLC is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
